Mission Statement | Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ to a dying world Our goal is to encourage believers and nonbelievers alike to encounter God wherever He is: everywhere. We believe that there is no area of the life that does not belong to Christ; and it is because of this truth that wherever we are in life, and whatever the circumstances, God has something to say about it. As a result of this mission we seek to build a community that truly seeks to take “every thought captive to obey Christ”. In doing so, true purpose unfolds for our lives, in that we are challenged to the core of who we are socially, morally, and intellectually. Out of these biblical truths our Mission is to challenge ourselves from the inside out and to engage who we are and the world around us for the sake of the Gospel of Christ.

The Christian Life

Socially

When Christ is Lord of who we are socially, we glorify Him in relation to the world we live in. We build up our fellow believers, the body of Christ, love others, and we proclaim the Gospel message to the world around us.

Morally

When Christ is Lord of who we are morally, we glorify him with the choices we make. This reflects who are on the inside, with all our emotions, and how God has done an amazing work in us.

Intellectually

When Christ is Lord of who we are intellectually, we glorify him with our minds. Every fact searched out and every reason brought forward is to know our God that much more.

None of these areas of life is more important than the others because ultimately you cannot have any of these without the other. To glorify God “intellectually” is to have an “emotional passion” to carry that on and to make a “moral” choice that we know is good in the sight of God. Likewise, when we glorify God with emotional enthusiasm and experience His presence, we worship a God who we “know” and “understand” intellectually. This is what it means to be changed through the Gospel; God does a work so amazing in us that we know and experience Him in the fullness of who we are.
